Card of the Day!! - Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
Sorry it's been a couple of days since I last did a card of the day but here's today's. Continuing with my trend of staple cards is Gorz! He can be incorporated into almost any deck and can help in really tight situations. His effect allows you to special summon him straight from your hand when you take damage from your opponent and you control no other cards on the field. Now, if you summon him when you take effect damage your opponent gets hit with the same amount of damage you took. Then when you take battle damage you get a token with the ATK and DEF of the battle damage you took. So while his effect is good he is not for every deck, but he can fit in nicely in most decks. I use him in a lot of my decks.

Card of the Day!! - Bottomless Trap Hole!
Today's card of the day is yet again another staple card for ANY deck out there! Bottomless Trap Hole is a must and I'm sure ALL of us have come across this card at one time or another. It can be a very helpful card for a remove deck as well because the very moment your opponent summons a card (whether flip, normal, or special summoned) it is destroyed and removed from play. With this card in your deck you will amp up your deck several folds. This card is semi-limited!!

Card of the Day!! - Brionac, Dragon Of the Ice Barrier
Today's card of the day is a staple card that is a great boost for any deck if your lucky enough to get your hands on it! Brionac is a level 6 synchro monster with a killer effect. You can discard any number of cards to your graveyard and return the same amount of cards from the field to the hand of the owner of the card(s). This effect is used mainly by sending monsters and face-down trap cards back to your opponent's hand. Brionac is a MUST have for any serious duelist! As for me I include him in ALL of my decks I build, just keep in mind he is limited due to his ability along with having 2300 ATK. If you are looking for one you'll be hard pressed to find one for trade easily and if you do find one up for trade it will likely take a toll on your wallet or trading card binder.

How to use xyz monsters
With these new creatures being released, I figured it would be about time to explain how these xyz monsters. These monsters are peculiar indeed; first, they are placed in the extra deck with any fusion or synchro monsters you have, but they are easier to summon. For this card named "Baby Tiragon", it needs three level 1 monsters to be summoned. How they are summoned is to fit the requirement the card says (like Baby Tiragon) and stack them below the xyz monster summoned. The monsters are then treated as xyz material monsters and help the xyz monsters unleash their true power. For Baby Tiragon, it's naturally not that great of an effect. He can send one xyz material on it and have one level 1 monster you have attack your opponent directly. I bet you're thinking "A level 1 monster? That's all?" Fortunately there are new methods to help this. A new card released, called Gagaga Magician, can reduce its level from any level from 1 all the way to 8, if only he's not used as a synchro material monster. But you CAN reduce his level to 1 and use Tiragon to have Gagaga attack your opponent directly. A 1500 direct attack is not bad at all; sadly some xyz monsters have negative effects if there are no xyz materials on them, such as Utopia. Utopia allows you to release one of his two xyz materials and negate an attack, but if he's attacked with no xyz materials on, he gets destroyed automatically. So xyz monsters have good and bad effects, but it all counts how you use them. Hope you get some xyz monsters soon to stay with the times! Happy dueling!
The Magnet Warriors
Again, I am also sorry for not updating this for awhile. But now seeing we have fans, we have a mission to continue with this. Anyway, I am going to explain a archetype today; an archetype is simply a set of cards inside of a type that work well together. Let's go with none other than the four magnet warriors. If you recall, Yugi used these from Battle City until the end of the season. Even at the end of the season, a combination of the three weaker magnets is able to defeat the three Egyptian God cards with the help of an anime-exclusive trap that weakened the Gods attack when Slifer's effect activated. Anyway the only four magnet cards released were Alpha, Beta, Gamma and Valkryion. Alpha and Gamma are made more for defense, while Beta on the opposite hand is made for offense. The good thing about the magnet warriors is you can send all three from your hand to the graveyard to summon the ultimate magnet warrior: Valkyrion, with an attack of 3500 and a defense of 3850. Valkryion can also activate its effect, send itself to the graveyard and summon all three magnet warriors back from your graveyard. All in all, the magnet warriors are cool and can work well with the new xyz monsters released. That's all from this corner for now. Happy dueling!

Card of the Day!! - Neo-Spacian Grand Mole
Sorry for the months of not being on here, but here's hoping that'll change! Okay well getting things started again is probably one of my favorite cards of all time! Neo-Spacain Grand mole probably has one of the best abilities around, one that may not defeat your opponent, but it sure as heck will delay him and buy you some extra time . His effect allows you to return a monster that he is attacking or is foolish enough to attack him ( yes even though he only has only 900 ATK and 300DEF) back to your opponent's hand. The only downside to this being that he goes back to your hand at the same time. This means that he will be your only summon until you can work up a strategy, or unless your opponent is able to pull off some pretty good tricks. So overall this is a great card, that may buy time, but only for so long, defiantly a staple I use in almost all my decks I put together. This card is limited, so only one in your deck!
